Wilson J. Steele, 75, of Wadsworth, July 23, 2018, at Summa Barberton Hospital
following a declining period of health.
He was born May 1, 1943, in Wadsworth to the late George and Doreen (Wachtel) Steele
and lived most of his life in the Wadsworth area.
Wilson was an Aviation Mechanic and Pilot and worked for G Force and Aircraft Sales
companies for many years. He was passionate about aviation, motorcycles, gun
collecting and working on old engines.
Wilson proudly and devoutly sought and practiced the Native American ways of religion
and nature. He enjoyed attending many Native American cultural events with Michele,
his friend of many years.
Surviving is his son, Jim (Rebecca) Steele of Happy Valley, Ore.; grandchildren,
Anthony Steele of Turner, Ore., Jameson Steele, Madison Steele and Breanna Steele all
of Happy Valley, Ore. and Zachary (Amanda) Steele of West Linn, Ore.; special
friend, Michele Mackey of Barberton; and brothers, George (Sue) Steele and Edgar
Steele both of Wadsworth.
