Mrs. Joyce Elaine (Amstutz) Blair, 27, of 824 Kent Ave., West Layfayette, Indiana, died at 11:00 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was admitted Sunday after becoming ill earlier in her home.

Mrs. Blair was born in Wadsworth, Ohio, and graduated from Wadsworth High School and Ohio State University. She had resided in West Lafayette five years and for a short time taught third grade at Edgetea School. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyaterian Church.

In 1964 she was married to James C. Blair who is a researcher for Purdue University's Computer Sciences Department.

She leaves her husband James C.; son Michael at home; parents Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Amstutz of Wadsworth, Ohio; two sisters Margo (Mrs Dan Tosh) and Carol (Mrs. Steven Seamands) both of Wilmore, Kentucky and brother Dr. Roger N. Amstutz of Warren, Ohio.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at The Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Wadsworth, Ohio. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Orville, Ohio. There will be no calling hours.
