Carolyn J.(Jodie) King, 42, died November 29, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Wadsworth, Mrs. King was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a L.P.N. and R.N. at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital for eight years.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband James W.; daughter, Deborah M of the residence; parents, Robert and Charlotte Appleman of Wadsworth; grandparents, Emerald and Elsie Lilley of Wadsworth; brothers, Robert L. Appleman of Canal Fulton, James A. Appleman of Wadsworth, Warren D. Appleman of Rittman; sister, Barbara J. Campbell; nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by children, Tony, John and Jaqueline.

Services were held Tuesday and Hilliard Mullaney Funeral Home followed by funeral mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery. A prayer service was held Monday evening.
